Delta Electronics ASDA-Soft buffer overflow flaw enables arbitrary code execution on industrial control systems.

Summary

CVE-2026-5726, a stack-based buffer overflow in Delta Electronics ASDA-Soft versions up to 7.2.2.0, allows local attackers to execute arbitrary code by sending malformed .par files. The vulnerability affects critical manufacturing infrastructure worldwide and carries a CVSS score of 7.8 (HIGH). Delta has released version 7.2.6.0 as a patch; no active exploitation has been reported to CISA.
